You sound surprised at the inept performance of the police that you witnessed.
Can't and won't go into detail, but we have a very serious investigation going on here, and what started out full of promise and optimism on their part about getting a result, it's now clear they are fizzling out that early enthusiasm and that it was all done as a ploy to keep us quiet. Complain letter is already drafted if and when the expected 'we've found nothing' phone call comes, despite me having already seen the evidence which, in my eyes, is enough to send the **** in question down for some time. I have that feeling in my gut of the inevitable. The entire thing from the start has been a complete joke and whilst I can't say anything about the incident, what I can say is that based on what I have seen and how things were handled from the very beginning, I expect what happened here to happen again and again, because that particular department displayed some of the most inept work i've ever seen anywhere in my life to date, and it's scary as fuck to think what they let slip by.

When I was younger me and my mates were regularly pulled by the cops for nothing. I suppose a group of 5 lads in hoodies wondering around at 2 a.m will raise a few suspicions. Although we lived in a small town, every bastard knew us and if we did cause trouble it wasn't on our own doorsteps

Im not sure. They never used to search us. Would talk to us, ask why we out so late. Maybe looking back they were just making sure we were all okay
However when I used to visit my step brother in London they had a midnight curfew and the police were like fucking Nazi's once that clock struck even if you were walking home. Stop searched, battoned, cuffed I had the lot down there for fuck all. We started running away just for the thrill of the chase
