I always wanted to be in the police force, until I gained some real life 'experience' of them.

Iv seen them heavy handed in all possible situations (even with women) apart from when there has actually been a crime comitted.

My sister and her boyfriend, Chris, went out for his 21st back in September. Whilst waiting at the taxi ramp some bloke took a dislike to Chris and decided to punch him while his back was turned. Knocked unconscious for a good ten minutes, my sister horrified rang an ambulance. Before the ambulance got there, Chris came round and the police were turning up. In a drunken and now shocked and concust state, he starts shouting, wondering what the f*** is going on. The police then throw him to the floor, cuff him whilst giving him a few digs in the process. He is then thrown in a police van (lets remember this is someone thats got a head injury and hasnt commited a crime), they take him to the hospital where they put him in a secluded room, but didnt leave until they had banged him up against a wall, tripped him up and crushed his face on the floor. He then gets charged with public disorder and is on bail. The bastards made a mess off his face to go with the punch and concussion.

To make it worse the thug who attacked him got off, but my sister made sure she left her mark by giving him a good few cracks with the heel of her boot.

They need to remember they are servants and are supposed to protect us. Egotistical bullies. Only time you see a **** halfway up a horses back.

Where did he get hit? in town?

Yes it was somewhere in town. We have already asked about camera's but they say its not possible to retrieve the footage. A copper cracked my mate at a taxi rank in town a few years ago, she cracked her back and got charged with assault agains a police officer. At the time we asked for camera's ''there are none'' - I cant see why there wouldnt be a camera on Portland Street where there is a taxi rank , but they all piss in the same pot dont they?! She 'got off' )pfft) with public disorder. Slag of a cop obviously didnt want it to go to trial.

Im not saying all cops are the same, but most of them dont behave how a civil servant should.

haha nice to see u went to the effort of looking for that... n no i aint a "shit stirer" and i wasnt the only person at stoke the police at stoke were a joke and any1 who was there waiting for the buses will agree with me.

p.s

i dont hate the police or nothing i know a fair few sound coppers. but u get the odd few who go power mad.

i hadnt had much of a chance of gettin this guys number he was pretty hostile, he ruined a good day to be honest. he was twice as big as me i didnt even swear back at him. ahh well what comes around goes around.

I was at stoke in fact I got on them buses watched and filmed the whole thing, what youre saying is total and utter bullshit if you want pics ill send them you

stop lying

it wasnt that bad at stoke ... i was in the crowd trying to get to the station and although not planned very well the police didn't react or hit out really which was to their credit as there were some utter tools that were up for trouble at the game that day !!! you do like to exagerate a bit

but we did get hit with batons.... my dads legs where black morning after maybe it was the the police near infront of us.. im sure theres videoss of this on youtube...

In my experience with the OB it's best to keep your Gob shut and walk on by.

Sometimes at football shit happens.....don't go if you can't cope.

Under the freedom of information act you can get cctv footage,it's just knowing the correct place to ask. You can also retrieve footage from GMP for about a tenner for their video footage as well. It isn't impossible to get it just means you have to get off your arse and know what to do and where to ask without it all being done for you and whingeing about it on a football forum.
Here endeth the free legal session. Anymore advice required then book it through my secretary (discount for seasoncard holders)

I witnissed a very worrying incident last year when I was on my way home from the game. I was crossing the road near the Merc garage when a policeman on a moter bike nearly knocked a middle-aged guy over. Instead of saying he was sorry, the policeman stopped the bike and started to shout at the guy that he would end up in a cell all night. As this was going on a few fans started to shout over that he was a disgrace but he copper pulled out his baton and threatened to break the original guy's jaw.

What really frightened me was the immediate agression of the policeman. If he had ran him over it would have been his fault but I doubt that he would have accepted it. He was so angry and was really up for it. I was shocked that I thought he was going to lay into the guy.
