I missed the court action on the Daniel Shaver case (I posted it when it happened about the man in the hotel gunned down by police trying to pull up his pants whilst on his knees).

The cop involved was acquitted after being fired, but got his job back only retire citing mental health with disability benefit!

The Shaver family settled out of court.





All a bit astounding to be honest, but hardly shocking any more. Why the Shaver family settled at such a low amount, I'll never know.
