They're "Pro-choice" (for want of a better term) as is the whole concept of libertarianism. Some libertarians on the left hate guns and don't own them, but respect the right of people to own them. Some others do 'ave 'em. ;)
Remember that in the graph, it's the bullet points in the middle. It's the individual right to keep and bear arms they'd agree with.
Indeed, that's the point of libertarianism. Whether you like guns, whether you hate guns, you support people having the choice and that the choice of ownership resides with the individual, not the Government.I'm a Libertarian and all my military friends are libertarian and we like our guns.

Absolutely!!
The reason we have our gun rights is to protect us from a tyrannical government. And when a government want to take those rights away you better watch out. I believe that's one of the first things Hitler did when he came into power. Once the guns were taken he had nothing to fear.
As someone who is a liberal I fall on this side of the arguement. Guns are simply not going to stop a brutal dictatorship should one happen with a military force bring mobilised against it's own people.Wonder how your AR 15 fairs against an F16. You honestly believe having a rifle could stop a tyrannical government, just poison your water damage your crops.
Selling guns and needing medical insurance is a license to print money in Merica.
F16's need pilots. How many American pilots would fire on their own citizens to protect their "government"?Wonder how your AR 15 fairs against an F16. You honestly believe having a rifle could stop a tyrannical government, just poison your water damage your crops.

?Not a huge surprise to me.
Alright. Thought I'd pasted it.
Maybe not but I'll fight for something I believe in. One of the reasons Japan was hesitant to invade the U.S. was not only the military but almost every household had a gun in it. There are militia groups in the U.S. with a lot more fire power than little old me. Besides that I don't believe our boys and girls in our military would rise up with a tyrannical government against their own.Wonder how your AR 15 fairs against an F16. If anything the 2nd Amendment should be updated to include F16's. That was it's interpretation, after all; A populous equal in military strength to it's government.Maybe not but I'll fight for something I believe in. I'm not arguing with you, I'm telling you why the framers of the U.S. Constitution gave us our gun rights.
You're correct about the fact that guns and insurance bring in money in America. I wish the insurance part would go away but it is what it is at the moment.

About 40k people died from guns in the US in 2018 apparently
Not a huge surprise to me.
