Political relations between UK-EU

You'd think government ministers would have learnt the lesson not to call new Brexit related initiatives "World leading" since it became clear that every supposed world leading thing that this country has done in the last 2 years has been expensive, late and totally not fit for purpose. Absolutely no reason to suspect that this initiative will not follow that same path before being quietly shelved, and we'll end up with the EU version plastered with a few union jacks.
Is exactly what will happen, with a large cost to the tax-payer included of course.

whats the betting he voted Leave and voted Tory and would vote Tory again if there was an election tomorrow? Zero fucks for his plight - up the workers for better pay and conditions

He fucked up - now he wants somebody else to fix it for him. No shits given here - these people knew exactly what they were voting for - we know that - they never stopped telling us - Jimmy needs to own his mistake and clean up his own shit - he can go pick crops and drive a delivery van thanks to Brexit - its a world of opportunity for him
’Jimmy proudly backed brexit- now he just wants a solution’
-Sums up brexit in one sentence.

The solution is to rejoin - will these idiots ever admit it. I suspect not.
We would have to accept the whole kit and kiboodle if the UK rejoined. Schengen, The Euro etc.

The Tories managed to negotiate some concessions because at the time we had a huge international influence. That's gone now. We'd be in the bottom tier of the EU states, not a top dog anymore should there ever be a vote to return.

The UK politically is the grumpy old bastard at the bar that people find endearing but ignore their rants and take the piss out of them when they start.
I personally have no issue with that. I'd say the gammonati that voted for a lie still would. They'd rather see this country's inequality grow to the standards of India rather than admit they were lied too.

I have said all along we threw away the best hand we could have had and started playing poker with Happy Families cards and we insist they are the one's at fault for not giving Mr Bunn the Baker the same value as the Queen of Clubs.

Anyone seen any Brexit benefits? Johnson can't name one and is Frosty the Showman did hire his assistant to identify them that appears to be paid for doing nowt.

The only possibility I can see that could be branded a benefit is that some of the lower paid are now calling the shots and commanding better pay and conditions. I mean thats inflationary and yes it blow a hole in the Brexit notion that immigrants were taking "our" jobs. Turns out we needed these workers to do some work. Who knew?

I suspect it is a little bit of both. The re-jumbled timetable on Northern is that drivers/conductors might be quarantining and not at work.

From the ping that ain't pinging or erroneously thinking if you come into someone who has symptoms and you are double jabbed its carry on as usual not isolate at home until if/when you get any symptoms yourself?

The solution was never to have left in the first place.
But poor old Jimmy and his mates fell hook line and sinker ( apologies for the fishing related cliche) for the ‘dream’ as did so many.

It will take a generation before the long process of re-joining begins.

Brexit was the last gasp of the baby boomers.

Bloody Romanians and Bulgarians coming over here picking our food.............

And the bland government response is "The British people repeatedly voted to end free movement and take back control of our immigration system. Employers should invest in our domestic workforce instead of relying on labour from abroad". It's both a lie and utterly complacent in the face of reality.

Not many in logistics backed Brexit. This guy was certainly warning about a no-deal Brexit.
