Political relations between UK-EU

Yep. Another industry being thrown under the bus in the name of global free trade in one direction only.

Australia’s top beef exporter predicts tenfold UK sales surge on trade deal

Should get rid of that trade surplus we have with them currently.

The madness of it is that the proposed "gain" could be 0.01% added to GDP in 15 years time. You have to also allow for the fact that there could be a contraction of a similar amount ( or more ) over the same period allowing for possible variable outcomes.

That is the same as telling someone on the average wage in the UK to do something that will not end well for them but the reward is the chance that they could be £3.86 better off in 15 years time, although there is also a risk they could be a quid down as well.

As the Australia deal is the only deal in town Johnson is gagging to get it signed so he can boast about a Brexit win and the Aussies know it...........

It is a kind of karma that industries like fishing and farming that backed Brexit end up getting shafted.

A bit like the DUP backing Brexit and ending up with a UK/NI border and facilitating greater inter Ireland trade and boosting Ireland trade with EU as it sidesteps the UK (Ireland's Central Statistic Office says imports from the EU rose by 46% in March. Imports from the UK fell by 31%. - Irish Times).

Aussies will get a deal that benefits their industries and we will get Kangaroo Steaks in Waitrose. Wonder what wine they recommend?

more proof that Frosty the Showman was completely out of his depth

Out of his depth? He was a heavyweight genius according to our man on the inside mister 1632 who even as we speak is basking in the sunny uplands

a heavyweight who had taken so many punches his brains were scrambled and to this day he keeps getting smacked in the face by events he created but for which he claims aren't anything to do with him.

Meanwhile Johnsons lies further exposed...................now back to the studio where Ben has done a piece revealing the defecatory habits of bears

Frost outlining the ‘chilling’ effect on GB/NI trade, yet elsewhere, also claims there has been no significant effect on GB/EU trade under the deal.

Given the UK mans the customs border between GB/NI, how do we end up ‘chilling’ internal UK trade more than say French custom officials do for UK external trade?

It‘s possible the man is a gibbering idiot that says the first thing that comes into his head or...no, he’s a gibbering idiot. Not sure why I bothered posting :)

Every single person around that table is secretly and guiltily thinking "like the Remainers said would happen". None of them will voice it, probably even in private with each other, but you can sense it with the shuffling, sideways glances and Nervous coughs.

We told you, you morons, and you wouldn't listen.

Yeah but the prick is showing a Union Flag behind himself so the gammon lap him up - he is the pineapple ring that sits atop them
