Political relations between UK-EU

Who knew...?

Every sane fucker in the in the UK and Ireland!

Told - you was piss funny when all the Cons and Leavers on here rejoiced at the accession of the master of fuck ups to the top job then the installation of the Showman as chief negotiator being some sort of coup - none of them had a fucking clue about what they were trying to do and what their aims were other than to be able to shout get brexit done into a camera which they thought meant none of them needed to read up on the subject nor allow time for any scrutiny.................the rest as they say is history and sadly its also our future

and so the Australia deal is about to do to farming what Brexit did to fishing - they are relying on these red wall seats for future success aren't they?

Tories still won local election in Cornwall, despite killing off fishing. I suspect all the second home owners with postal votes.

So - 3rd country rules that apply in France to visitors to the country will doubtless be trumpeted as new rules by the Mail and Telegraph as I expect a lot of their readers will be affected. This applies to visitors staying for less than 90 days.

To gain entry you will need a passport no older than 10 years and which remains valid for at least 3 months after the date you intend leaving.

Proof of accommodation for the whole period of your stay. That will be a hotel or gite booking. If you are staying with friends or relatives then before you go the person you are intending to stay with has to complete an attestation d'accueil form which they then take to the town hall and get it stamped and they pay for it and they then post it to you so you can show it on arrival to French border forces.

You will need to show you have substantial means to support yourself for the duration and either a prebooked return ticket or the financial means to buy one. Substantial means is 65euro per adult per day for the duration of the stay if you are in an hotel or 120 euro per adult per day if you have no prebooked commercial accommodation.

You will need to show you have medical insurance to meet all medical bills AND repatriate you via air ambulance should the need arise.

Failure to comply leaves you open to up to 5 years in jail or a fine of up to 30,000 euro's.

Ending of free movement is such a win - I can see why Nigel Lawson decided against relocation to France - he'd never see his grandkids again !

"Welcome to the Brexit sir"

Sadly the people who voted for it don’t give a bollox. The rich will not be affected in the slightest and the red wall don’t want to go abroad and the government will make sure that more and more won’t be able to afford to go....
