I’m on day 3 of my self imposed abstinence and it’s fucking hard man, it’s really fucking hard ;-)

I actually got one of the mods to put me on a self imposed ban for a month to get away from them.

I’ve also killed my Facebook before I have a major falling out with my family.

I pissed off Facebook years ago.
This is the only social media I do.

And it’s testing my will at times.

I see the Brexit thread has been pulled again.

Maybe best to leave it this time until after you actually leave.

Didn’t get to the end of the thread but it had gone off the charts a bit as I was catching up.
It’s sad how this one issue is pulling the country apart, or are the standards shown in here indicative of how things are in general in your ordinary working day?

Did anyone see what happened with the thread. Was in the pub tonight winning the pub quiz. 8 free pints. Just thought I’d mention it.

Most likely because of a tit for tat over terrorist sympathising. One poster decided that remainers were sympathising because they were concerned with what could happen in NI as a result of no deal.

Another poster thought this was out of order following on from the IRA bomb/MEN arena atrocities.

Emotions were running high on both sides. It's not a surprise to me that it was pulled.

It's the same few posters posting the same thing repeatedly. No one listens to anything there and just get more and more irate as their points are ignored.

I'd bin it off altogether. It gets no one anywhere apart from frustrated/angry.

Maybe have threads when something actually happens.

I don't discuss Brexit offline anymore, especially with mates in the pub,as it invariably ends up in an argument.
So yeah it is pretty indicative about what things are like at times.
At least online,it doesn't descend into a physical punch up.

If it was that, it was the offending post that made the link between terrorist sympathisers and being on a Manchester forum but then the poster pretended he hadn't made the link.
