Haha! I only came on to the Brexit thread to get a bit of light respite.Is it just me that thinks going away on holiday with the family IS spending every day dealing with the same old shit?

Lazy fucker.There were a couple of reported posts last night so one of the mods moved it. Looks like things were getting out of hand, again. I’ve just gone on holiday with the family and can’t face spending every day of it dealing with the same old shit, so doubt it will be put back any time soon. Enjoy the break from it.
Whilst Brexit can cause some heated debates it’s mainly on forums like this - most people still go about there day as normal as more bothered about fantasy football and what pub to go to weekend.
I work for a big company in the city and no one bothers talking about it in the office.
For "Not bothered about it" read "I have to work here". It's easy telling someone on line that their argument is dumb, but not so easy to a colleague six feet away. I'm off to a small work reunion tomorrow. Once we've established whether it's the same 3-2 split as in 2016, I doubt we'll mention it again. (One guy was against the EU because they had issued a draft safety regulation that made little sense in the heritage sector in which he worked - but when the "bureaucratic" EU then granted an exemption, he still voted Leave because they suggested it rather than Remain because they fixed it.)
It's a very decisive subject sadly. People get heated about it. Personally I'm still more annoyed about us getting shafted by VAR :-(
I think "decisive" is not how Brexit has turned out.

Seems any thread about Boris with a recent post is also destined for the same fate - can't just the problem abusive posts be deleted rather than the whole thread pulled?
