Seems like as good a time as any to revisit this thread. Reading through some of the posts on here over the past few days/weeks/months and it’s pretty grim. The same handful of posters on both sides having the same arguments, day after day. Neither side is ever going to agree, or change their stance given how entrenched their views are. There’s a fairly depressing futility to it all.

Is it time to bin off the sub forum as a bad mistake? Or will it just spill over and pollute Off Topic again? Genuine question, by the way. I know there will probably be the usual denials and accusations, but not really sure if there’s a way to sort this mess or if the rot has set and the divisions are too deep? Views welcomed anyway.

Funny really if the question of keeping the forum had been revisited on Dec 20 all the one moaning about it or saying hide it away would have been pro keeping it.

Always the same when the political arguement is against one side they think this forum should go.

It is like the bbc is it left or right wing arguement, depends on the political climate
