I reckon we'll win both, but I think there is something to be said for winning the League Cup. It should be a nice boost to the squad to know that we've already won a trophy whilst still being in the running for the other three. We've got the squad to cope with the fixtures, let's go out and collect as much silverware as we can.

Way too far still to go in the league, so a win against Chelsea doesn't guarantee anything nor does a loss put us out of the picture.

And I don't think we ever retained any trophy.

And another League Cup win puts us clear in second place with 6 of 'em.

This. We've won 5/6 finals so far. Best record aside from Wolves of teams that have won it more than once.

In fairness as well, turning our noses up at cups is exactly what Liverpool and Tottenham have done well at traditionally. Hardly clubs whose models you'd want to follow.
