First trophy retained? I can’t find any record of it but I’m sure that we’ve retained the Cup For Cock-Ups on more than one occasion mate.

I reckon we'll win both, but I think there is something to be said for winning the League Cup. It should be a nice boost to the squad to know that we've already won a trophy whilst still being in the running for the other three. We've got the squad to cope with the fixtures, let's go out and collect as much silverware as we can.
It is a good point. The boost from winning it tends to do us well. Losing the final could be turned into an inspiration not to let that happen in the league, but winning the cup would be a huge boost and give everyone that reminder of how good it feels to win something and why they have to keep fighting on all fronts.

its the league for me because that's the next game, we need to foil the bin dippers that's for certain and be the first club in more than 10 years to retain the EPL trophy, that would be massive bigger than anything for City.
