Rufus Wainwright’s nasal drawl is the same in every single song he sings showing how tediously limited he is vocally.
I hope you’ll send a list in UG.Feel after reading the first few pages this is gonna be pointless sending a list as people are still gonna vote based on their fevourite genre and bands, not individual vocal talent as most rock/indie/punk etc singers wouldn't make the cut as being tuneful has never been a necessity over the actual composition, most are more remembered for stage presence than their voice.
Lets be honest the classic crooners, easy listsning, classical and a few rock/pop stars can carry a tune but most (bar maybe sinatra ) with get voted for
I mean freddie merciry is a prime example, hands down in the top 3 vocalists in modern music, but already dismissed due to thw band he was in, equally I am sure the same would be donw for George Michael who would make any top 3 on any credible list
Timmy Mallett?Oh for sure. I was just surprised no one had mentioned them yet! But you're right about not mentioning folks to whom you are giving specific votes. I just referred to some -- didn't say if I did or didn't vote for them :)
I have one incredibly famous singer on my list who I think will fall through the cracks and people will be kicking themselves afterwards for not remembering to vote for.
And I have another who no one else will vote for but me but it is my proudest vote yet :)
