Blimey O'Reilly this is going to be difficult. Just doing a rough long list and realised that brilliant singers like Paul Rodgers and David Ruffin probably aren't even going to make it into my shortlist let alone the list. Could probably do a list per genre no trouble.

Except for the late Freddie Mercury who simply is head and shoulders above anyone else, there are very few that I’ve heard live and impressed me.

Guy Garvey (Elbow) at least doesn’t try what his voice can’t reach and therefore has a very clear singing voice.

Completely subjective I like to listen to Paul Draper, former Mansun.
