Given is very overrated imho. Keep hearing what a great stopper he is. True. But so are most goalkeepers.

What differentiates them more is their command of their area, how they deal with crosses and their distribution. Given is poor to crap at all of this.

shay has saved us on countless occasions, we would have conceded had joe be in goal at the time.

Neither, would like us to get Hugo Lloris from Lyon personally, but Given is ok at the moment, even if he doesn't command his area at all.

After seeing what he did to Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania, Bret Hart can still... oh, THAT Hart.

Joe, for sure. Given is an excellent shot-stopper but that is about his only world class trait as a keeper. At times that is enough but Joe is improving and improving while I don't think Given can ever get any better than he is at his age.

For some reason, Given has regressed from earlier this season.
