pool or snooker?

what do you prefer? it might just be me but i reakon pool is just a game for the people who dont play either of them much.

Pool for me, I dont get much opportunity to play snooker.

Played both semi professionally for a long time up untill 8 years ago . Bow ties , sponsorship , tournaments etc etc etc .
Both are skillful games that require dedication to reach the top level .

At league level , both are pretty dire , being one frame matches , with Snooker needing a little more dedication .
Don't miss league pool at all . Nothing but drunken arguments and delusions of grandeur . Gets a bit more respectful at County level and above , but not untill you reach International level does it ever become truly gentlemanly .

Some of the better pool players are also great Snooker players and vice versa .

At the end of the day though , anyone can enjoy pool without having to put much effort in , but Snooker definitely needs dedication .

Snooker on a tuesday with my mates (all old bastards)

Pool with my sons at least once or twice a month in the boozer.

I enjoy both!
