The winding up hearing is next Wednesday so unless something dramatic happens before next Monday, they will probably go into administration on Tuesday. At least that gives them a chance of survival whereas if they are wound up they are utterly finished.

They'd be best off doing it now, being docked points in the Prem and getting relegated (which will probably happen anyway) rather than get docked points next season in the Championship.

Its a shame to see any club (apart from the scum) go into administration. Pompey are a good, traditional english club who have been in fact punching above their weight for quite a while. This is what happens when you give the likes of John Utaka £80,000 and cant back it up with gate reciepts etc.
