Like wise in the 80s. Not really sure what you are getting your knickers in a twist about really. Nobody least of all myself is being critical or having a dig. I think you will find 91 sets of fans in the top four divisions who have and will sing that song...lets make that 92 as I have heard City fans singing it to others.
The fact is many who attended do not these days, quite a few because they have snuffed it ffs. Many of the attendees these days are to young to have been going back then just like any other club.
I am sure City have up comparably well against other clubs in terms of longstanding supporters who have been going for decades.
Frankly seeing your arse about what other fans sing is just silly, if other fans kick off and start violence then yes but singing a song....really????
If I were you I would come down to Nantwich and I will roll you a joint.
You’ve admitted you haven’t watched us since the Liverpool game so excuse me if I don’t give two shiny shits what your views are on City, considering you’re happy to not watch a large proportion of the season
And no, many haven’t, again, that our attendances are so high, the Barclays survey carried out a few short years ago and it’s findings that City had the highest percentage of match attendees who have been going over 25 years, it’s clearly evident that you, and others who have stopped going, are in a small minority.
I expect fans to sing that chant, I go every other week but once in a while it’s rank hypocrisy, in fact it’s quite often, given City’s attendances stack up against anyone’s, when situation is brought into it.
My wider point was the state of the 90 mins from the Port Vale fans, they were one of the most obnoxious I’ve heard.
Seeing your arse because City fans are questioning nonsense being sang at them, whilst you’ve given up on the team, is about as ridiculous as it gets.
