Port Vale (H) - FA Cup 3rd Round Post Match Thread

Truly fucking woeful post.

Our fans didn’t go after them taking the piss. They were singing fucking Liverpool songs at us whilst they had a larger attendance today, then they get at home.

City still got large crowds, in the top 10 in the country, throughout the 90’s, despite being totally shit.

spot matey some people are clueless to thinking city having a small fan base even in the dark days, most of the other 90 odd clubs in england would bite the hand of manchester city for there fan base back then, we was in the old 3rd division and still getting better crowds than all them clowns clubs who sing where was you when you was shit

a respectful manchester city today that all am going to say about he game and port vale, because some of their players was not and the fans too, city could have ripped them a new bum hole but we are better than that and respect every small club,

Like wise in the 80s. Not really sure what you are getting your knickers in a twist about really. Nobody least of all myself is being critical or having a dig. I think you will find 91 sets of fans in the top four divisions who have and will sing that song...lets make that 92 as I have heard City fans singing it to others.

The fact is many who attended do not these days, quite a few because they have snuffed it ffs. Many of the attendees these days are to young to have been going back then just like any other club.

I am sure City have up comparably well against other clubs in terms of longstanding supporters who have been going for decades.

Frankly seeing your arse about what other fans sing is just silly, if other fans kick off and start violence then yes but singing a song....really????

If I were you I would come down to Nantwich and I will roll you a joint.

You’ve admitted you haven’t watched us since the Liverpool game so excuse me if I don’t give two shiny shits what your views are on City, considering you’re happy to not watch a large proportion of the season

And no, many haven’t, again, that our attendances are so high, the Barclays survey carried out a few short years ago and it’s findings that City had the highest percentage of match attendees who have been going over 25 years, it’s clearly evident that you, and others who have stopped going, are in a small minority.

I expect fans to sing that chant, I go every other week but once in a while it’s rank hypocrisy, in fact it’s quite often, given City’s attendances stack up against anyone’s, when situation is brought into it.

My wider point was the state of the 90 mins from the Port Vale fans, they were one of the most obnoxious I’ve heard.

Seeing your arse because City fans are questioning nonsense being sang at them, whilst you’ve given up on the team, is about as ridiculous as it gets.

Glad to see Stones had a good game
He's class. Had a beautiful season in Pep's second season before getting injured and has never really found those qualities again over a sustained number of games, Still, he's only 25. Still got a way to go before he reaches a supposed peak for footballers.

That clown who scored from them has posted on Twitter again, bet he didn't say any of this shit when they were in our dressing room kissing the players arses.

He's an irrelevance. Doubt any of us had ever heard of him before.

He scored a decent header but did little else. Stones would have matched his goals tally today without that touch off THB.

His point gets worse mate when you factor in that crowds are generally up everywhere, due to football becoming more popular and the crowd behaviour getting better, as to allow women and children to attend more frequently.

Still, the majority of the 52k today would have been going for a number of years, it’s absurd those two claim otherwise.
