Porto (A) - CL | Post-Match Thread

A good job we weren't 60 seconds late getting back on the pitch again or we’d probably be facing a CL ban again

The Porto players seemed to take it in turn to have a roll around/clutching
their faces etc... some of those 'tackles' on Phil were bordering on brutal. It may have been a lot worse had Fern not been in 'pit bull' mode! He rolled the years back with that performance.

Porto have a massive inferiority complex about Benfica, and they are seeing us as some sort of proxy, because of Bernardo and Dias. Add to that a manager who has the agitation level of your average coke head on steroids and you get this garbage.
Porto (and Portuguese managers in general) are cunts to everyone tbh, it's pretty much part of managerial culture over there to be a troll in press conferences and on the touchline. (remember Jorge Jesus against Tim Sherwood?)

Ballsy move calling out Bernardo for racism when they were fined for racism last time they played us, then again these are the convicted referee bribers complaining about refs not giving them enough decisions, so its kind of what you expect

It's a while since we have seen such a despicable team as Porto (apart from Peg's teams of course). Constant cheating and play-acting, trying to kick us off the field, screaming and shouting. Is Portugese football trapped in the 1980s. Both those tackles near the end on Foden were borderline red cards. You can see why Pep chose Fern and Rodri in the centre. A stark contrast with Lyon who beat us by playing football.
