I’d play a strong side in this one and get it done and dusted. It’s Tuesday so not major deal playing Sat. The week after should be the one we rest the eleven who will play in he derby. All of those players should have a full weeks rest.

Winning the group means you play 2nd placed sides which traditionally meant avoiding: Bayern, Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG but everyone bar Bayern seems to have collapsed this season under the weight of Covid.

Will be a strong side, he’ll want top spot confirmed but I do expect rotation. Not sure Kdb and walker will get another rest I can see him rotating the rests, maybe Dias and Gundogan left at home and given a night off this time.

It’s a full rotation but it’s a strong side and we can have the likes of Kdb walker Jesus on the bench if needed and hopefully a Doyle/palmer or two on the bench too for if it’s a comfortable night.

We're in a position that we haven't been in since the start of the 18/19 season where we have the options of 4 potentially top class CBs to rotate around with. I wonder if we'll ever see a Laporte - Ake pairing and if so who'd go on each side?

Akw will switch is my guess. Laporte and John tend to hold their spot regardless of partner.
