Porto (h) post-match thread

Good result and a mixed performance. Ferran and Phil looked good when they came on. Good performance from Kyle and Gundo. Good match to get out of the way given their appalling cheating and the referee's gullibility (bias).
 
Not a wonderful performance but it is going to take them time to get up to speed given all the enforced changes and lack of pre-season.

Also, shouldn't be forgotten that was a tough game for a long time because Porto gave City so little space to play in; once they had to open up, we looked like we could carve them to pieces.

So, in the end, a reasonable European performance but a few of the kinds of mistake in the first half that have to be eradicated if we are to win this cup.
 
First half was really poor, passing was sloppy and the build up was far too slow. Defensively we were a shambles but not too surprising when you consider the changes made.

Second half better, especially when Foden and Torres came on. I like the look of Torres once he gets used to the PL I think he will really flourish. The kid has quality.

Walker was outstanding once again and MOTM
 
I hope you liked to play that shitty club, what you saw today is what happens every game they play here, but even worse cuz here they have more control. Their success has always been based in corruption, coercion and violence, which is well represented at the moment with Pepe as the captain and that coach: 0 fair play, 0 respect, 0 values... They never won in England in their history, I’m really happy it stayed like that
C’mon City!!
 
Some awful officiating as usual for the UCL.
Bernardo’s yellow card was BS. Pepe should’ve given away a second penalty and his straight up assault on Sterling was more than enough for a red card.
 
Piss poor first half,not helped by the diving or the ref,improved second half and two fantastic goals,lovely cameo from Torres and foden,we hopefully will improve as we look well off our standards .Also Pepe is a cnut but we all knew that and their manager was a mouthy cnut as well,looking forward to the return game in Porto now as it will be spicy,hopefully we put them to the sword..

Diving wankers all game. Fucking horrible whining bastards.
As soon as they came at us we tore them open time and again. But for the post and a couple of very good saves we
could have had 5 or 6.
Not at our best. With KDB and a full squad well tear them a new one at their place where they won't have 10 behind the ball.
