Pretty sure it was Nasri.

What dis everyone think of Samir tonight?

Thought he ha a decent game, didnt go missing and laid on a great ball for Mario in the first half.
One quibble in the second half though we had a counter attack on the right and for some reason he slowed the play down which let the Porto defence/midfield regroup.

That was the result of Silva's underpowered pass to him. There wasn't really much he could do.

Officiating was a joke, great result

Agreed mate. It is so frustrating watching European football. The slightest of contact is deemed to be a foul. Proud of the lads tonight though. Looked lack luster and a bit jaded in the 1st half but we have to apreciate how tough an away trip Porto is.

Much better second half which has really been the story of our season so far... Let's finish the job with a great performance and a few goals at The Etihad next week... Come On City!

Great result tonight! Good to have Yaya back, oh how we
Have missed him. Also good to have balo back in the side, he oftens speeds up our attacks as he always looks for the first time pass rather than holding onto it! Back 4 awesome
Again, apart from the 1 lapse. Get in Sergio!!!

what I learnt:

if we can win in Porto we can win anywhere, thus we should win every league away game to the end of the season and thus win the league, which means the lads can then do what they want in Europe without me caring one jolt.

of course the reality is we'll be pratting around in Europe in a couple of weeks and then shit ourselves when Nathan Dyer and Scott Sinclair fancy a run at us.

still we won, in a match that's completely and utterly irrelevant in the ultimate shake-up for our season, but at least our first team got another run out...
What a **** ;)

Great result tonight in what is a fortress of a ground for Porto. We grew into the game, didn't panic going a pal down and are now in a strong position for next week. The only thing I will say about the game is that Porto coming out and attacking us suited our game better than say an Italian team defending and counter attacking(like Napoli did so wll against us) if we can produce this type of performance against those type of teams we will do well

imho Yaya and Lescott were the best tonight.....whatever Hulk is vulnerable to (dont know cuz i never read comics) I am sure Lescott had it tonight

Great job lads.....so glad to see the away stand and all the people enjoying their trip , have a safe ride home
