These journalists, commentators and not a few neutral fans just adore these divas, don't they: Ronaldo, Bellingham? They just love them. I believe that if some people have taken to saying that City are boring (I set aside the bad faith from rival clubs who would simply like to win the PL, that's not even worth considering), it is because there are no divas whatsoever at City. Just a bloody good team, where everybody's working together. Pep doesn't tolerate them. Even Messi was not a diva at Barca, when Pep was there. Pep gave him a lot of free rein, because he knew a unique talent when he saw one. But Messi was not allowed to behave like a diva, and didn't want to.

It's bizzare mate. Always seem to be hearing about how it's good to have a bit of arrogance, or "Oh but I like that about him". Generally oft confused with simply being a twat. You can have immense belief in your ability without being an insufferable ****. Less good for punditry and headlines though I suppose.
