There was a guy on Radio 5 today - Tim Vickery, an expert on S. American football I belive. He talks in a normal English accent but then uses like a Portuguese accent for the players names. So that sh1t United midfielder wasn't Fred he was Friji and he said Roberto Firmino in a really weird way too. It was very odd.

That’s because he’s lived in Brazil for c25 years and probably has no idea of how us Brits pronounce the names of the South American players he reports on daily in his day Job over there reporting on their Leagues and the Libatatores Cup etc
