Positive news about Corona Virus Updates

It wasn't positive news, an improperly tested vaccine is a disaster.
Are you saying your knowledge of vaccines is greater than the boss of Astra zeneca and his team? Tolmies post was a good positive one. I just think we should try and keep this thread for what it was started for. Theres surely enough anguish and negativity on the other rirus threads. Anyway have a good day.

They are Covid free over there aren’t they? I’ll be interested to see if they try and corner the market in importing any sporting events, so they can take place in front of a crowd...
Movie and tv production too. I can imagine quarantining crews and actors for 14 days and filming everything there.

My house backs onto a road with an ambulance station on it, yesterday I had to nip out in the car and on my way back I stopped behind a funeral presation outside the ambulance station. I can only assume it was a paramedic because the sea of paramedics outside giving a clapping whilst all of the ambulance lights flashed was breathtaking, it was one of the most moving things I've ever seen, the biggest sacrifice, praise to the NHS.

The contract is for 400 million doses of the potential vaccine, which is being developed with the University of Oxford in the UK. Its experimentation phase is expected to end this autumn.

Announcing the news in a Facebook post, Roberto Speranza added that the first batch of doses would be made available by the end of this year.“

"With today's deal comes a promising first step forward for Italy and Europe," he added. "A vaccine is the only solution to Covid-19."
