Positive Pregnancy Test

start buying baby-wipes. And then buy some more. And then some more.

And when you think "that's a lot of baby wipes, these will last until she/he's 20" - go and buy some more baby wipes.

And then buy some more next week.

Reverse this for clothes.

Or you will end up with a lot of hardly and unworn baygrows, vests, cute logo'd t-shirts etc.

Good point. Save that money for baby-wipes, instead

Absolutely brilliant mate!

Enjoy - it is simply fabulous being a parent.

Congratulations mate.

If it is a daughter the best advice I can give is put her up for adoption when she turns 13 and then have her back again when she's 19.
Well I've got 2 daughters, 32 & 28, both of whom were adopted as babies. The only thing we "missed out" on was their actual births, but in every other respect we went through all the joy, heartache, ups and downs that parents whose kids were born to them went. As for wiping bums, etc, just grin and bear it. My wife liked it so much, she was a childminder for 23 years!

It's all a part of life's rich journey. I've no doubts you'll enjoy it.

Thanks everyone! The initial euphoria has subsided a little and we realise it's early days, but I must admit to a bit of extra bounce in my stride today.

congratulations , nothing better than after a bad day at the match/office coming home to the little ones, anyway a little bit of advice if I may

STAY AWAY FROM THE BIRTH ,ITS FUCKING HORRIBLE, all that should be left to doctors surgeons and midwives ,you have been warned
