I really can't understand people saying that's nice.... we are City, we play in Sky Blue shirts - not sky blue with a white sash ffs!!!

Definitely save myself £40 if it looks remotely like that.... sky blue shirt - nothing else, and white trim thanks... in fact, fuck it - keep last seasons that is as near perfect as you'll get!!!

1. Should have maroon in it apparantly

2. They would not do a sash like the 3rd kit (it looks exactly the same, but the colours have changed)

3. The sponsers name would not be that small on the home kit.

4. It apparantly has a collar and a v-neck

5. It is not actually a photograph is it!? It is a computer mock up and that a limited number of people on here could do quite easily

6. I said so.

1. Why are we still waiting for the shirt, should be first out every year to maximise revenue from sales
2. We should be No1 priority for Umbro... what is going on
3.Fans want to wear the shirts in Summer now mid June and no shirt
4. When it arrives Umbro wont handle the demand as usual and will have limited range for season.
5. Growth of the City image will not occur by having restricted sales via City direct..............How do you buy shirts overseas,out of Manchester
Sort it out we are missing revenue as a club

I agree with a lot of your points. This isn't a usual summer, with the world cup about to start "football fever" will be in full swing shortly. On the back of that, City should be leading the way and as you say, maximising revenue. Liverpool and Chelsea released their new home kits just after the end of the season, and have sold thousands.

I am also very surprised that a genuine image of the shirt has not either been revealed by the club, or leaked out of Umbro. I work for a brand famous for its' 3 stripes, and know that kit designs are agreed months before any kit launch, to ensure the whole kit (from shirts to training wear) is manufactured and ready long before pre-season. Umbro & City have done a good job of keeping things tight.

take the maroon and white bands off the shoulders.

move the crest to the right and umbro sign to the left, like on our current shirt.

give the collar a maroon trim

change 'etihad' to white and take the arabic away


that would be perfect IMO

I just don't get it. I want to wear the shirt the summer before not the summer after! And no kidding when it comes to buying outside the country. It costs me £40 then another £50 just to get it to my house. it's frustrating. I can go down the street and buy 10 different random-ass premiere league kits but if I want a city kit I have to call a congressman and get a loan for shipping it.
