Poss New City Home Kit Picture

Serious question.
1. Why are we still waiting for the shirt, should be first out every year to maximise revenue from sales
2. We should be No1 priority for Umbro... what is going on
3.Fans want to wear the shirts in Summer now mid June and no shirt
4. When it arrives Umbro wont handle the demand as usual and will have limited range for season.
5. Growth of the City image will not occur by having restricted sales via City direct..............How do you buy shirts overseas,out of Manchester
Sort it out we are missing revenue as a club

Spoke to someone who works at the COMS this week and this is what I heard.

The home shirt will remain more or less the same but, it will have some tweeks on it. Nothing was said about a white sash, but pin stripes were mentioned. The away kit is likely to be dark blue and the third kit will stay the same (the white with sash).

Hope this feeds people's curiosity. It certainly did mine.

That would be far more believable if the official site hadn't said this in their news article encouraging us to take the stadium tour:

As an added incentive everyone who embarks on a stadium tour before close of play this Friday will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win the new City shirt, released later this summer.

Also, I really, really hope there aren't pinstripes on the new shirt. Pinstripes look hideous.

Keep thinking the pin stripes comment was a bit of wind up because I agree, they look hideous on most clothing.

Hey ho - whatever they turn out to be, we'll soon find out about the design when they go on sale.

This is what i read on here about 2 months back. Similar to the navy blue with white and red diagonal stripe from the 70's. Someone has a picture of what it looked like.

No, no, no. For the love of Ada, no sashes on the home kit please. We play in Sky Blue and we do not want anything like this. We are not Coventry City ffs.
