another load of bollocks from the club, i'd say the real reassons to sit away fans up top is because they would be easyer to police with no segregation lines so all the chaps in 109 onwards might aswell just sit down, which is all the club are really after, it cant improve the level of noise because there would be no banter

Each level 3 tier holds about 6k, so there will be segregation between the 2,500 or whatever away fans and the rest of the tier.

Would it make better sense to put away fans in blocks 121/122/221/222 thay way the "kippax" and SS are together and we can still have the banter.

just putting it out there.

I'd hate that, I sit in 121 after being forced I move in the north stand evictions. I quite like the seats I'm in. And could easily say why not swap the kippax and away fans areas around.

If you're moaning about the view of the game, watch it on the telly. For me, going to a match is about supporting your team and sucking in the atmosphere... srsly... people moaning about views.

So you would be happy with a restricted view ticket at goodison etc cause after all who cares what happens on the pitch?

If you really need someone to explain why many people LIKE to have as good a view of the pitch as possible then there is no point trying as you wouldnt understand
Watch it on TV ffs.

I sit in 121, relocated from the North stand (by choice, tbh) and I'd move. This needs to be trialed. If the Bayern Munich game means something at that stage, that, my dears, will be the true test.

Incidentally, I'll bet there are hundreds in CB3 and all over the ground who would rather sit in a noisier place. 3000 new south stand seats does not mean to say that they need to be first filled by those displaced in East level 3.

NB you can see both 3rd tiers from most seats in the end sections. If you really want banter, home and away fans will still be able to see each other clearly enough to insult one another.

And another thing, the away fans in more expensive seats means the club will earn 6 figures a year more out of away fans. we get charged drug money to watch city away these days, lets have the shoe back on the other foot for a bit.

How do you work that one out? Filled with Blues paying a bit more or filled occasionally with away fans paying a bit more.

Couldn't agree more.

Didn't know so many city fans were fluent in German.

What's "who's the faggot in the pink" and "have you ever seen your dick" in german lads?

Banter my arse ffs.
The actions and chants of the away fans gets a direct reaction from City fans in the blocks near them, regardless of language. Those Aris fans would have been shite in the 3rd tier, as it was they created a great atmosphere.

You can guarantee the Germans will fully understand any insults thrown at them so no need to polish up on your German for this one.

They're in the 3rd tier, not sat outside Beswick Library!! Were you at the Poznan game? Did you see the bit in the game where they were singing to each other? They were as loud as each other. 2,500 bayern fans will outsing 40,000 city fans wherever they sit in the stadium.

What if we both need a win to finish top? What's better? Having them out of view in the 3rd tier away from the pitch or right behind the goal they are attacking? This is our ground ffs, we need to stop making it comfortable and great for other teams.
