Possible moving of EL3 Fans

What about shifting the away fans across right behind the goal.
Thus creating 2 or 3 extra singing blocks either side of them?
That way, the singers in the kippax and south stand remain in similar positions with an extra 2 blocks closest the south/east corner for people who want to sing/stand?
More than likely you'll solve the 109/119 "standing problems" doing this also as they can move into 112/113?
If that makes sense? If it doesn't, then fuck you, because I've had a few.

I support any decision that removes away fans from behind our own goal. Both of those sections should be filled with home support. Such a thing would be unthinkable at the Karaiskaki Stadium in Athens for my Olympiakos. Make it work elsewhere.

If you're moaning about the view of the game, watch it on the telly. For me, going to a match is about supporting your team and sucking in the atmosphere... srsly... people moaning about views.

'People moaning about views' ?? I think you're completely missing the point.
I would assume from what you say that when you go to the match you aren't bothered about watching the game and you are happy just to shout & sing and suck in the atmosphere.

Many of us in EL3 like to actually shout, sing, suck in the atmosphere AND watch the football. I had always believed THAT was what it's all about.
Not having a crap view because the game doesn't matter.

There's a lot of bollocks talked on here about EL3 fans. Like most areas in all grounds up and down the country there are some who prefer just to sit and watch. There are also many others, like me, who make a racket supporting the team AND have a decent view of the game. That's the point.

Anyway, up in EL3 we I didn't hear much 'atmosphere' coming from the SS at the Villareal match. Hopefully the Bayern game will explode the myth once and for all and we can get back to some normality afterwards.

Why are fans moaning about the view they will miss out on if moved...? it's about the improvement of the atmosphere in the stadium.
I've hardly ever heard a peep out of the 3rd tiers at our stadium, in fact the only time any noise was heard was against Poznan.
As for being consulted first, City have learned a lesson there after telling people 2 years ago that they must move out of the North Stand to increase the size of the Family Stand, should they not fit a certain criteria.
Those that sit in the proposed affected blocks are likely to be accomodated by the club as I and 5 others were when moved) so that you can sit somewhere you choose, rather than being put.
The blocks affected are also the last the sell out generally and have the fewest season card holders, so I guese around 1000 of you might be put out somewhat but hey, 43000 others want an improvement in atmosphere....

Maybe because quite a few people go to a football ground to watch a game of football, and not an away fan that is fat, ugly and wearing a pink shirt.

I disagree fully with trailing operation one-end against Bayern Munich. That would a completely biased experiment towards to club and south stand wishes.

Think about it. They do operation one end against bayern and when the atmosphere is excellent, its championed as a complete success and they put through the motions to have it full time. However as much a stone will travel the same speed no matter what day you drop it, the atmosphere against Bayern will be electric no matter where the away fans are, because its a must-win CL game!

Of the clubto really want to know if its a good idea wait until we Fulham at home or black bit at home. Furthermore what about cup games when the away team is eligible.for x% of the tickets. That means it'll effect some ST in one.game but not in the next. There isn't any consistency.

I feel for the fans who were ousted to make way for the Family Section, it was handled terribly and that section has hardly ever been full since.
There is seemingly a feeling that fans in EL3 should suck it up for the good of everybody else, after all it doesn't matter a shit where you sit as long as the atmosphere is good for everybody else. That basically is what a lot of people are saying if I read it correctly.
I'm alright Jack, it doesn't affect me works if it really doesn't affect you but for those that it does it is a fecking big deal.
The game against Munich would create an atmosphere no matter where they put the away fans and this is not the game to trial it.
Put them in CB3, put them here, there anywhere, this time it's EL3 next time it could be your section and then see how you get on.

there are so many issuse involed here i'm not sure where to begin but here goes 8 years ago the club fuked up the layout of the the ground there should of been a deadicated family stand from the start then they won't of had to move people out of the north stand the away fans should of been right in the corner or up in the gods if they'd done this noone would complained the club are now trying to put things right. i personally have move around the ground alot first in the south stand so cup games i had to moved the last two years i've been on the value seasoncard so its been east stand level 3 then level1 tis year and really unless ur in in the first few rows there ain't a bad view in the place so i'm not too sure why people are so agianst moving but i understand that its not just about views either. as for the atmostsphere is the etihad any worse than most epl grounds? no is it worse than maine rd? no could it be better? yes but then we come to the question of what a good atmostsphere having banter with the away fans is great fun if your in the middle of it but the rest of the ground its pointless and it proably doesn't help push the players on . i'd love us to have one end making lots noise like they have in dortmund and other places but ithink its going to hav to wait til/if we expand the ground

Are some people actually saying they'd rather have an away team come here and be able to attack the end where their fans are as long as their view remains pleasant?

Typical of people putting themselves before the interests of the club.
