Possible moving of EL3 Fans

Sooner the better I am in 307 (used to be in the northstand) and I thought the northstand was quiet, up there you jump up when a goal is scored and someone tells you to sit down so bring it on City and move me again

at least you are all getting pre warned and "consulted" about the move

a couple of years ago I and a few thousand others were just upped and moved without warning from the North Stand Level 1 when the club decided (wrongly as it has transpired) to make the whole of that end a Family stand

I can still hear the non stop whinging in the Family Stand in the months leading up to this event. I moved voluntarily just to get away from it.

without sounding selfish i hope they do it as im in 304 and it would make the atmosphere miles better, however as there only about 4 of us that sing up there it make make our fans look really bad, at least the south stand lot get the banter going.

I'm in 304 and don't want those ruffian away fans making lots of noise and spoiling my concentration as I'm over analysing the game ;-)

I'm in 306 and I didn't get any leaflet/letter regarding the possibility of being relocated.
I will be pissed off it it happens without us getting first dibs at any free seats. I moved up there from EL2 because of the £200 price increase that was being implemented and I'm going to be even more pissed off if I'm told to move to an end. I moved away from there five years ago.

My personal view is that for the club it would definitely be the right long term decision - it looked loads better with the south stand all BLUE v Villareal; however I can understand the negative feelings of the EL3 fans who would be moved. Long term though City would get more points by having all BLUES in such a prominent position behind the goal so it has to be the right thing to do

Wrong there Pam there was not months leading up to the event it was sprung on us with one match of the season to go. I didn't take kindly to being ordered out of a seat I had sat in since the move to the new stadium. Also if you recall they had to reduce the planned size of "The Family Stand" due to poor take-up levels.

It was only with the help of Danny Wilson that I got my present seat in South Stand Level 2, which I might add is superb and the atmosphere great. But the way I was treated still leaves a sour taste.

Really? Exactly how many more points could we have got at home in our current unbeaten run? And look at how having the away fans prominently situated spurred Mario on against Villa.

And if there's an area of the stadium where persistent standing could well be a safety hazard it's Level 3 with its steep gradient.

So you would think the club would think twice about pissing off another couple of thousand fans then wouldn't you?

-- Mon Oct 31, 2011 11:54 am --

It wasn't done by the club, it was printed out by one of the guys who sits near me in 305 highlighting the possibility of being moved out of their permanently.

I sit on the halfway line in 305 and have done here since we moved and also in the Kippax for a number of years (had a season ticket since 85).

I'll be really pissed off if we have to move giving up some of the best seats in the ground to away fans especially because we won't be able to get equivalent seats anywhere else. I'll certainly be going along to POB to air my views.
I think the atmosphere is better when a decent number of away fans are present and close by. Are you seriously telling me that we would get more points if they were up in EL3? Don't we think we have enough quality now to cope?

A pointless move. Where would they put away fans at cup games if lvl3 was closed and even if they still put visitors up there and closed CBL3 the club would cause even more bad feeling.
