Post a Surprising Musical Fact.

The Small Faces became The Faces when Rod Stewart and Ron Wood replaced Steve Marriott.
Rod and Ron weren't small.
Rod Stewart already had a record deal when he joined The Faces. He therefore released LP's under his own name and as part of The Faces.

'The last line of Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues is "The pumps don't work 'cos the vandals took the handles."

This refers to an incident when he attended a college party in New York, at the college attended by Steely Dan's Walter Becker & Donald Fagen.

The same incident is referred to in their song Reelin' In The Years in the line "The weekend in the college didn't turn out like you planned. The things that pass for knowledge I can't understand."

Saw Dare live at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham, around 86/87,
if I remember right, the lead singer was originally in Thin Lizzy, they released one decent song called Abandon.
