Boo Hoo Hoo! Get a grip, i can not fault one thing the club has done in dealing with this issue.

1. The club gave Hughes plenty of time and resource to achieve! Looking at the results objectivley we should be second behind Chelsea if not top! We have had no significant injury problems lost only two games so no excuses!

2. If we had sacked Hughes without a replacement lined up, we would have been hammered for acting in haste without a plan! Removal and replacement in one day! Credit to the club!

3. The only players who will ultimately be upset will be the ones deemed not good enough and moved on! This is what we want to happen is it not?

I for one will be cheering very loud when the success rolls is! Yes when not if!!!!

And it wasn't a rich-mans toy when Swales shipped managers in and out on a 6 monthly basis, or when Lee handed the club over to his mate Ball? Some people really need to grow up and stop tossing their toys out of the pram.

Exactly, how can the OP not have been embarrassed by the press conference where John Maddock was introduced by Swales with Peter Reid squirming uncomfortably in his seat on the other side of Swales as he clearly understood exactly why Maddock had been brought in. City have never stooped so low as that before or since IMO.

As for yesterday Cook showed his ineptitude in handling the media and I suspect he may be next out of the door once ADUG identify a suitable replacement.

You mean Cook surely ?
It was a bit strange Cook should of just wallked in and said that this is Mr Mancini's press conference any questions on Hughes i'll answer afterwards
Mancini hardly speaks English fluently, I am still embarrassed of Cook's act but I will never ever dare to be embarrassed of being a City fan.

45 years a MCFC supporter,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

and have seen lots of ups and many many DOWNS at my beloved MCFC. Was at Villa Park when Spider shot us into the CUP final. Wembley both games and them bloody argies. Witnessed Pleat dancing on the hallowed Maine Road pitch when Luton sent us down and the violence that followed that game.

Remember going to my first game at Maine Road in the mid 70,s Burnley at home Bell,Lee,Sumerbee,Book,Corrigan and hearing a bell ringing most of the match thinking it was ice-cream man and meeting Helen.

Going to the Junior Blues and winning the raffle and receiving my 2 tickets to City v Spurs off Dennis Tueart my schoolboy hero. City won that day by 4 or 5 and Pat Jennings was man of the match.

Many ,many ups and DOWNS but yesterday and that press conference i was embarrassed to be a CITY fan, football is a joke. Its not a working mans game any more, just a rich mans toy.

Will always be BLUE and CITY till i die but yesterday was a very sad day in the history of MCFC...... :( :( Good night

The only thing that is embarresing is the completely over the top reaction of some of our fans. Fcuk the media, fcuk Hughes, fcuk whatever anyone else has to say and get behind the people that matter - Gary Cook/Manchini/Kaldoon & the players.
