Post Match Remedies after a defeat? What do you do to cheer yourself up?

Not much

Just understand it's only entertainment and if we win or lose, it doesn't really alter my life in the grand scheme of things.

Obviously I'm a bit gutted at the time but its really not that important.
I'd love to have a life where losing a footy game is the worst thing to happen.

absolutely.

Also, sometimes, even bad defeats lead to positive outcomes in the long run, while great victories bring regret. just like in other parts of life. The happiest day of my life was May 17, 2000, when Galatasaray won the UEFA Cup. Yet, there have been times, even now, when I’ve thought, 'I wish we hadn’t won.' It’s a long story. Realizing this has, in recent years, helped ease the pain of bad defeats for me..

not until you learn the lesson...

= a comma between "done" & "calum".

off~topic even further...

can you form a grammatically correct sentence containing the word "and" 5 times in a row?
I learned those lessons long before I went to uni. Sometimes when you don’t have time, you write fast and you make errors. I can do that, but I won’t. You’re starting to fuck me off with your childish shit now. Grow the fuck up, or take a fucking Lolly.

did your team lose again?

let's see what's what here...

to begin with,
when i joined a discussion on the ufo thread,
you started shouting and swearing at me because you disagreed.
that was how you opened up a conversation with me.

i politely explained that you were out of order.
you changed your tone with other posters for a little while.

apart from you and that other fella who loves you,
nobody else on the thread agreed with you and you disappeared,
after claiming i called you a knob, which i didn't.

i replied to this, your thread, by making light of it.

and yet, here we are again,
you swearing and shouting at me.

i support manchester city.
i am from manchester.
i am on a manchester city forum that i joined 15yrs ago.

none of the above apply to you,
yet you think it's okay to come on here and swear at me.
you think it's okay to be aggressive to city fans on a city forum.

you demand that i grow up.
i'm 60.
it's way too late for me to start growing up.
and if your definition of growing up is how you behave,
then no thanks.

everybody on here knows i'm rarely being serious.
nobody on here has ever behaved aggressively towards me.

you say you make mistakes because you are short of time.
perhaps if you used your time better you wouldn't come across as such a nasty character.

i don't like you.
