Overall not a bad performance but let's not kid ourselves, realistically we are at the upmost of 10 years away from ever having a chance of winning the champion league.

We are nowehere near the level yet we need to get to and this team has ended it's cycle.

it was closer to 8-0 than 1-0. Hart alone was the difference given the defence, midfield, attack was a big fucking zero.
 
Not nearly half as bad as some make out. Just because we're the champions of England doesn't mean we should be just as good as them. Fact is, no one is apart from real Madrid and Munich. It takes years and years to get to that level and one day we will be But not yet.

A better sight to watch in the second half... but do not let that fool us into thinking we upped our game. Barcelona changed tactic in the 2nd half and decided to allow us onto them so they could play counter attack

We are still some way off where we should be and reckon this cycle of the 1st team is coming to its end
 
Hart absolutely stunning performance Fernandinho was far and away best out field player Wouldn't play Yaya and his mate Nasri again this season and that's from a fan of both
 
Good job in the second half. We looked like a team that cared which makes a big difference (would've beaten Burnley with that kind of heart)

Hart - Brilliant
Navas - Made a huge difference with his pace, but his crosses were wasteful as usual
Nasri - Ridiculous foul and never showed any composure
Yaya - Horrendous performance. No effort what so ever. Either that or his stamina is worse than a 50 year old chain smoker.
Kolarov - Was below average with his passing, but that's no surprise
Vinny - His night could've been worse. He needs to buy DeMichelis a beer.

Yes, satisfied with that performance, we were always going to be open at the back having to chase the game. The tie was lost in the first leg.

Gutted for Aguero. Best team went through so no complaints. Nice to see pellers get his tactics right and great show from hart and team overall. Poor in final third but decent.
 
Our passing was not good enough, barely strung two or three together and as usual could not make space to do this. That's not so much a criticism of us as praise for them, they make it very fucking difficult to play against them.

I don't post often in after match threads. I just want us to go and win against Brim and hopefully the scum and the scouse rats draw.

I was suggesting Nasri for future captain material a few weeks back.

He seems to have eaten at the captain's table for the last month judging by the amount of timber he was carrying.

We need five new first-team starters.
 
Am hearing pride improvement

Waw some people have low expectations

Out played from the fitst to the last wistle we are light years behind

A 10-0 agg score wouldn't have been harsh

The only feeling I have is a sinking one of how far behind we are

As some have pointed out were reaping of the rewards of 3-4 poor transfer windows
 
Nothing really surprising, outworked yet again in Europe. Don't think Barca are as good as we made them look in the first half of both legs and doubt whoever they come up against next will allow them so much time and space. Then again Burnley didn't have to do much to beat us.
