Yaya the weak link again imo. Lazy, gutless and not concerned.

The whole team were up for this, Sagna gave it his all, Silva tracking back and even tackling Messi, Kolarov even put in a shift, Milner everywhere on the pitch, Joe Hart like fucking superman!

Yaya... Didn't give a fuck for the goal, too lazy for the philosophy we're trying to build here, time to get rid.

This team needs a lot of work in the summer, Average squad age of 29.5 in the Champions league, 2 years older than the next oldest. We need to bring in fresh young talent and keep a core group of elite players for the next 10 years who can pass on their wisdom to the youth team
 
Fuck fawning over Messi we were a joke. We gave him all the space in the world what else can you expect. We're so shit and anybody who thinks that performance wasn't embarassing needs their heads checking. If it wasn't for hart having the best keeping performance I've ever seen in my life that score could've been 7/8-0 and we'd have been made to look like la liga relegation fodder. Only players from that team we should keep are dinho kun silva and hart. Rest aren't good enough.

Second half Barca took their foot off it yet still could have scored 4 or 5 if it wasn't for Joe. We did have some half chances but our crossing was poor, still a million miles away from going far in this.
 
Proud of the effort from most of the lads, even if we are well short of Barca's quality. Best moments of the night other than Hart have to be Pellers showing Nasri and Yaya what he thought of them. He's finally had enough and I think most of us have as well. 3 or 4 aren't good enough, but those two lack something far more important than talent. Well done the others though, heads could have dropped but they didn't.
 
if im honest score flattered us, if wernt for joe we would have been hammered, fern,merlin put in a shift, joe was in a class of his own.
we have shit loads of work to do, blame pell or players?, its 50/50 for me, but pell will pay the ultimate price im affraid
 
I'd love to say we went out with our head held high, but we were made to look like a Sunday league outfit with a world class keeper by a much, much, much better team.

Wish Sergio hadn't bottled our best chance of the night and at least made the last 10 mins nervy for them but alas, not to be.
 
great fighting spirit in the 2nd half, Hart was immense and all their chances came on the break when we were pushing up. Poor poor penalty from Kun though. First half tactics very wrong, appalling performance from Nasri in the first half...Navas injected pace in the 2nd and we looked much better
 
Our season has now come down to fighting for 4th place, and make no mistake we will have to fight for it.
 
Messi was excellent tonight .
That lad was quality .
City did miles better than the match against Burnley .
Joe Hart was quality tonight .
 
We showed a glimmer of what we're capable of in the second half & Joe was impeccable.
