Post Match Thread: City vs Boro

Take Yaya and Nasri out of the squad, and we are nothing more than a mid-table side.
We just can't brake the shape of what i call our " magic square " : Yaya + David + Nasri + Aguero.
When we play with these four on the pitch, we are close to invincible.
Take one out, and we already struggle to brake teams down.
Take two out, and we are check-mated, simple as that.

If we don't park the bus against Chelsea and don't plan to hit them on the counter, we will get our asses handed to us,
and it will be deserved.

At least the players got a nice sun tan. We can focus on the CL and Pl until Barca and Chelsea beat us

Todays results just emphasis how much players are over rated, valued and payed in the Premier league.Apart from fitness levels, the difference between the top and lower leagues as not changed from 30 years ago.It only pisses you off more knowing what their (stealing) earning.

Kolarov handball maybe, the others are not stonewall, in fact I thought Kolarov did well not to get a yellow for diving.

Pop over to the agenda thread where you'll find friends crying about refs.
What a clown.

Keep slinging the insults mate. Maybe a little cry in the corner will calm you down.
No insults in what I said mate. If you think those 3 penalty shouts weren't penalties then you are actually an idiot.

No excuses, the only miniscule crumb of comfort is the Chelsea result.

I disagree. With City out it would have been better for Chelsea to have won. Firstly it would have kept them busy and secondly they would have provided some competition for the rags. With the PL top 3 plus Spurs going out the signs are that the rags could well stumble to FA Cup success especially if they keep being drawn against below average lower league teams.

Nauseating though it would be, the rags winning the FA cup could be a blessing in disguise if it means them sticking with their clown of a manager for another season or so.

I didn't see the game today but from what it sounds like, it's same old same old. Not creating and/or taking our chances and defending like idiots? It's been like that for weeks now.

I hesitate to say ‘season over’, but with the league looking very doubtful a and the Champ League being a comp where we just make up the numbers, it really does feel like we are finished until next season. Incidentally, I’ve said it in another thread, but Fernando is a liability and shouldn’t be anywhere near the squad.

What was Fernando doing with the piss poor back pass and clearance?

What was Kolarov doing playing them onside and a piss poor non tackle that led to their second goal?
