Truly, truly fucking awful. As abject a display as could be imagined.
I'm a Pellegrini fan, but if you oversee two such dogshit performances back to back, you're going to come in for some serious stick. And rightly so.
That ain't to say he's solely at fault. The club carries a big part of the blame for deciding to send the players off at such a critical stage of the season, and the players are also culpable - the way we habitually struggle against lesser sides in the cup competitions says a fair deal about their attitude.

I will tell no lie. If Boro had won 5-0 that would have been a perfectly fair result.
That was, I think, the worst I've seen this current generation of City players play. We were shit!
Tell you something else. Forget the Cup. If our defence plays like that next week, we will lose 5 or 6 nil.

We lost 1st place we lost FA Cup but we bought Bony (not available for about a month while Yaya is not available too) ....GREAT MANAGEMENT

Both managers have failed in keeping the players fully motivated after winning the league previous season.

1st half was exciting and though we didn't put the ball in the net and were shaky at the best, I and many others were in a happy and buoyant mood on the match thread. Even Jim didn't seem to mind my insults to the Irish.
2nd half was really poor. Really really poor. We looked almost shellshocked from the word go and the enthusiasm for the fight didn't seem there until the last ten minutes or so.
I'll have my say about team selection elsewhere but from the squad that he picked I thought he got most of the big decisions right, and the subs were the ones most were screaming for.

Boro had by far the better chances in that game. They cut through us at will in the second-half. I thought they fully deserved the win over the 90 minutes.
