Post Match Thread | City vs Borussia Monchengladbach (14/09/16)

This is amazing. For the first time in 50 years I wasn't nervous. I actually sat with a smile on my face. Fantastic to watch, simply fantastic. Credit to every single one of the players, simply brilliant to a man. Pep, no superlatives to describe his football. And a big mention to fans as well. You were the loudest I've heard in a long time. Well done.
Don't you just miss that feeling of impending doom.

We really should sit back and appreciate how lucky we are to have seen the best years of Aguero at our club (assuming he doesn't leave in the next few, which I really can't imagine happening).

Wasn't around for Colin Bell but still I have no doubt Sergio is the best City player of all time.
145 goals in 213 games..amazing

Missed the game, can anyone summaarize it for me?how was gundogan and sane?
Thankyou
Gundogan was excellent. Bossed the midfield completely. Unbelievable to think it was his first game in 4 months.
Sane did very well in the 10 mins he played. Looked a real threat and set up the 4th goal for Kelechi.
Both really really positive displays.

Haha

The players have responded brilliantly so far to Pep's demands. Hopefully the combination of Pep and having a semi-final appearance under the club's belt finally means that City have come of age in Europe. Tonight was the least stressful European game (that we needed a win in) so far.

Lots of fine performances tonight but great to see that Gundogan looked so sharp.

Only complaint is that we only scored four.
