Post Match Thread: City vs Everton

Fantastic result, as I'm exiled with work mid week I sent the wife to accompany the daughter; hope the scousers in 325 enjoyed the full on Langley lass treatment when they thought picking on a bloke with a young child was funny. Set of cunts, hate this lot more than the grievers.

Can't remember this much fuss when Spurs had the ball two yards over the line a few years back! If I remember right the sky pundits thought it was funny!!

The result from neither leg reflected what happened on the pitch. Had we got vidtech and they had rerun the Sterling over the line cut back I would shrugged my shoulders and said get on with it. I also want a rerun of the three penalties we didn't get over the recent matches v EFC and the foul on Aguero before Everton got the first.

I have just listened to Martinez and he is coming across tonight and last Saturday as a whingeing git from the Arsene Wenger School of Visual Impairment. He clearly only sees the injustices that befall his side.

Fantastic. Night started badly. I didn't think we'd do it when barkley scored and the 1st half passed us by really apart from the Aguero shot that hit the post

2nd half was one way traffic. We really played well. Navas made a difference and then when it looked like we might have missed our chances, De Bruyne came on and really made the difference.

I expected so much more from Everton. They looked gutted at the end, but if you are going to go out of a League Cup semi-final that was not the way to do it. I can't see martinez starting the next season at EFC.

Stop worrying about Sky, pundits, media, Andy Burnham.

We are at WEMBLEY again!!!!
It's unbelievable, isn't it? I'm back home, In bed, I've come on here to bask in a glorious night and all I can see are paranoid and insecure bleatings about everyone being against us.

Talk sport talked about nothing but how we outplayed them and how aguero so the best striker in the premier league on my drive home, by the way.

Some of you armchair fans are so fucking sour, you really are.

There was some trouble on the main road outside the coach park. I didn't stop to find out but it looked quite bad. Police horses were on the scene as I was leaving so hopefully they mopped it up.

Thought the atmosphere inside the ground was very poor for a semi-final. Everton fans were so quiet apart from when they scored. It was as if they expected to get beat. We were quiet as well. To be expected seeing as Everton had our end. We need that 2nd stand going up so on a night when the away fans get our end we have another focus.

City were brilliant once Toure went off. He was a liability. Couldn't understand how he came out for the 2nd half after his first half.

Didn't think it was going to be our night when we hit the woodwork for the 2nd time, but we kept going. So many good performances. Everton were shocking. Two attacks of note, one of which they scored from.

The so called Everton invasion didn't happen. When they scored I looked around and I didn't see anyone jumping around. At the end I spoke to our steward and he said a group of 4 Everton fans were thrown out in the 1st half but that they had expected a lot more difficulties. Maybe that's because they kept a low profile

dont agree with that i thought it was quite good, i think people were just nervous about them scoring, didn't really help. the everton fans were crap - barely sung, and when they did it was just 'everton everton ......
