I can't be too negative about yesterday we were the better team and were robbed with a shocking decision and individual mistakes.

We can still win the league but I'll be happy with top 4 for now.

Yes, they are, but remember how we won the championship for the first time in the 21st century.
Still hope we can win it. Noone is good enough to win this season, so why not us?

12 games to go is a long way.

Its all down to how we use yaya . how kdb comes back and if Silva can keep improving his form. There were encouraging signs from him.

I would like to see kdb in yaya role. That to me would be the answer to problems

Yaya . needs to play from the bench.

The Spurs winner was a nightmare and most of us appear to hold Kolorov responsible for not following Erikson's run. By repeated freeze framing it emerges that Kolorov followed until in line with Zaba, while Otamendi went to the Spurs lad. If Vinnie had stepped up at that point Erikson would have been clearly offside when the ball was played through - if we could trust the officials to give it. As it was Vinnie stayed put and played him onside. Small margins and probably the result of Vinnie's lengthy lay off.

Agree with the analysis, but the reality is that Clattenberg would have overruled the linesman if he'd dared raise his flag.

I enjoyed the game live and thought we should and could have won it. Watching it again on record was a different experience. We truly started to play after their first 'goal'. Why can't we do that from the first minute? If we had I think we would have won. Positives for me, silva, the defence including Oto, who I thought was far more disciplined than usual. Vinnie was good apart from their second when he backed off rather than his usual front foot defending. Yaya put in a good shift. Rahim gives the ball away too easily, as did the Ferns on a number of occasions. Put that down to Spurs energy and pressing. Kun played poorly although he didn't get great service. Kelechi's goal was class and worthy of a celebration. The officials were cheats and Manuel called that in his post match interview. Quinn's commentary was not as bad as some make out. He clearly has a hard on for Spurs but called the penalty correctly 'harsh and unjust'. We have lost two at home to two good teams, wether we would have done better with a full squad - who knows. I am confident that Pep will make the adjustments needed to get us back to the top.

And yet given just given 50% of the CLEAR refereeing decisions that should have gone in our favour we would have been top.
So we do "deserve to be challenging", as you appear to be denying us.

I think our performances have been really sloppy this season. We started brilliantly and then totally lost our way. The tempo has been consistently poor and we have been taught proper lessons by teams with a lot less quality than we do. Liverpool, stoke and Leicester tore us apart. We were incredibly lucky to beat Swansea, Norwich and Watford. We haven't beaten any of the top 6. The fact we are still up there is a blessing. Who knows, now that Kompany is back we might find a bit of form again and make a push.
