The Spurs winner was a nightmare and most of us appear to hold Kolorov responsible for not following Erikson's run. By repeated freeze framing it emerges that Kolorov followed until in line with Zaba, while Otamendi went to the Spurs lad. If Vinnie had stepped up at that point Erikson would have been clearly offside when the ball was played through - if we could trust the officials to give it. As it was Vinnie stayed put and played him onside. Small margins and probably the result of Vinnie's lengthy lay off.

Played well yesterday Kompany looked good and gave the team a lift. We were in control and comfortable until cheatenberg awarded that penalty. My 1 frustration was Clichy for Kolarov just after we scored don't know why he did that. We certainly didn't deserve to lose. Anyway let's hope Vinny can stay fit and we can get some sort of run going.

Agree with your analysis. Believe Clichy was hooked as he was injured (someone posted earlier that he was seen going straight down the tunnel)

But nothing anywhere in the news or on Physioroom regarding Clichy being injured. Maybe he needed to take a shit or something, but his withdrawal might have cost us the game.

Bloody hell; I'll have to wholeheartedly agree with you.

And I’ll second it. I sensed a change in the team yesterday - a positive one. We lost, yes, and it’s never good against a team around you. But I see the return of Vinny as a season defining thing - IF he stays fit, we’ll win this league.

We are truly shite at the moment, never even looked like winning in either of the past two games. And why he keeps leaving Kelechi on the bench is completely beyond me. Yaya toure is not a second striker.

And why the hell is Roberts out on loan when we desperately need a winger.

For a little while, after Crappenberg has given Spuds the leg-up, and after we equalised, we looked as though we were gonna turn 'em over. It was only for a little while, though!

That just about sums it up perfectly - everybody knows that Clattenburg fucked the decision(s) up ( corruptly or mistakenly - take your pick ) and the powers that be don't want the fucking thing raking up !

Sadly, I have concluded we can't win this season. Tothenham, Arsenal, and Leicester strike me as all better than us. And that says a lot.
