Post Match Thread: City vs Spurs

You reckon? Remember we have the Rags to come at home - they'll beat us in this form, got to rid of this manager tonight
Yes, and who do you reckon we should bring in?

It's the same reason the Rags aren't sacking Van Gaal now. If we rid of Pellers now, we might not even end up in the top 4. No CL, who we gonna sign to replace our has-beens then.

Gap is easily retrievable but that record against sides around us is shocking, top 3 finish and a trophy will be cool and Pep rocks up next season.

Screwed over by a ridiculous decision BUT it shows just how far we've regressed when that was the best performance we've put in for a while and it still wasn't that good.

All the big decisions have gone against us in the big games this season. You can't legislate for that consistency of criminal officiating.
Exactly. We may not have played that well for every match but you aren't going to win most of them if every decision goes the way of the opposition.

We were shocking in the first half but much the better team in the second, a draw would have been a fair result but a certain celebrity ref put paid to that. So many decisions against us, its almost comical, but theres no agenda, none at all.

And Quinn is a **** as well

Disgusting

Plenty of positives today, more than last week. Kompany back and looked solid. Up there with one of the worst penalty decisions I have ever seen, fuckin laughable. Deversed at least a point out of that.

Never going to be happy losing but first loss in a bit where I feel we can take something positive away. We looked so much better with VK back, and had them contained save Ota's blunder moving in on Lamela. Obviously shit penalty call, and neither Silva nor Aguero could get anything despite chances. I'm a bit more encouraged watching that that we can get something out of the rest of the season assuming no more injuries. We won't win the league but I feel like we can win a Cup and make some progress in CL.

The mood everywhere was poor and the players were sloppy and lethargic. No spirit. But we were organized for most part and unlucky at certain moments in the goal and that second goal when we had all the momentum was just horrible.

It is still not over but the players will need to show a real desire to fight back for the team to have any chance of coming back.

Can't believe we let in that second goal in that situation.

Spurs didn't do anything until that disgusting decision. We get back into the game and he takes off Clichy who was playing well up and down the field.

Fuming yet again.

Typical performance. Out worked, cant hit the target at all as we need about 7 shots to get 1 on target, pointless corners, bent officiating that will be swept under the carpet by tomorrow. Pep has a huge job on his hands with this squad. A real fight now for 4th, its not so much of who is below us but the way we are playing, cant win 2 in a row and atm cant win any.

Referees screwed us over against Spurs again. Still we don't seem to score unless we're behind.

Swedish TV also said that Tottenham run the most in the league, City the 2nd least. Only Aston Villa run less than us. Says a little bit about the lack of fighting spirit we have.

1p I could've taken but this is just hopeless. 6p lost against West Ham, 6p against Spurs and probably another 6p lost against Liverpool next round. Really starting to worry about the 4th spot although we still somehow are only 6p from the top.

All in here please.

Keep it sensible and calm. If you can't do this then don't post.

lol, good luck with that.

Didnt deserve to lose, but didnt think we deserved a win either, a draw would have been fair. Defending looked good until our customary gift to the opposition. Dont get me started on that useless **** of a ref. We continue to disappoint,

We can all blame the ref, but yet again that was nowhere near good enough for us. We played ok after their penalty but fuck me we are so far behind where we were two years ago. We're boring to watch, easy to plan against and we defend like the Dog and Duck.

Wasn't just Clattenburg, **** of a lino flagging Aguero offside when he was on and clean through.
