Post Match Thread: City vs Spurs

Bored at work sheffield, you sir are a cock, been a city fan all my life, been going games for 34 years, season ticket holder at maine road and etihad, but the menaltality on here is agree with the mob or your a rag, we did get the rub of the green against everton to put us 2-1 up am i not allowed to say that? Ii was right behind the goal it happened at, the mentality on here is shocking

After being robbed in the previous two meetings with them don't you think it was about time.

so so poor....after penalty we woke up...but why is it always like this that we wake up after we go behind !!

not shocked by the score line as I had a feeling we would lose today, our form has been poor all season and we were up against a younger energetic spurs full of confidence.

We were robbed with the penalty decision but offered nothing much in threat towards the spurs goal. Think we have tactically been found out this season and it has shown in the games.

We need to focus on securing top four now, maybe win the capital one cup. But I am looking forward to getting a manager in the summer who will totally change the way we play for the better.

Sterling will flourish under Pep as will KDB and Iheanacho and Aguero.

If that is your main talking point from that game, you cannot have watched the same game I have.
My main talking point was Mark Clattenburg being a bent ****, but as a team we can't do anything about that. What we can do something about is starting the game with 10 men. In that first half in particular we could have used a statue of Yaya Toure instead of the real thing and it would have been just as much use when they had the ball

This one of our "offsides" that didn't even get reviewed:

And straight after they score their 2nd , still disgusted

Just ignore them. If Sterling doesn't go on a 50 yard run taking on all 10 players and smashing one in the top corner he had a shit game in some peoples eyes. He was so much better than Silva, Toure and Aguero.
Agreed. I just do not understand what supporters a that have likely watched the match as intently as we have see some times.

The two main drivers of our problems today (apart from the FA hating our club, apparently) were Yaya and Fernando—one is on a sharp decline (either an intentional stromp or an inevitable age-related slide) and the other is not of the required level for where we want to be/go.

why ?? he's a good coach, with loads of experience. helped guide the team to numerous cups/ league wins. why would we get rid of him
He just looks as charismatic as a wet balloon and apart from putting out the training cones I'm not sure how we need him when Mancini and Pellegrini probably weren't arsed either way if he was there or not. Has he even done his coaching badges because if he hasn't he can't take over for more than a few weeks.

I'm not taking a position. I'm saying your position is daft.
You're saying I am overreacting after saying I hate this team for letting the fans down time and time again this season. Basically saying no matter how awful we are, we should offer them our undying love. You're wrong. After a STRING of AWFUL performances, I definitely hate this team, and it is a perfectly legitimate position. Only gonna get worse until Pep comes in too.

Just ignore them. If Sterling doesn't go on a 50 yard run taking on all 10 players and smashing one in the top corner he had a shit game in some peoples eyes. He was so much better than Silva, Toure and Aguero.
100% correct

He was by far our best player today and I'm completely mystified how Toure still gets a game, or at least starts

We look completely stagnant in all areas on the pitch and as much as what we have done over recent years this team needs a massive shake up imo... We're void of any creativity and passion which I think will only get worse this season as MP will no longer give a shit

Who was...

I would say you are the lunatic so keep a look out for a doctor if somebody calls one.
It's not for me to say who was. I'm saying it certainly wasn't Sterling. The more I see of him the more I'm convinced Pep will see right through him within the first week of pre season.
