Because he lives in it. The houses he is talking about are houses that are bought as investments and then left empty to appreciate in value before being sold further down the line.Why doesn't he give his own house up?

So if there are no empty homes it means people can't be rehoused in them. Everyone's happy. Surely you're not saying that Corbyn is advocating rehousing the fire victims in houses that are already occupied. Maybe he should focus on the 100000 unallocated people in London rather than the 1350 empty homes. Another elephant in the room - immigration uncontrolled means we have to deliver a new home every 7 minutes. Helps contribute to out of control property prices and is without doubt a contributory factor to poor housing standards.

Shouldnt that be down to the investors to decide weather they give up their multi million pound houses? Suggesting it causes unrest and that's what exactly he doing.
