Some really pessimistic comments on this thread , we created and missed chances at the Italian champs who are very strong at home , the spine of the team is missing , Aguero is a million miles away from fitness , thought tonight was a good performance with the players we had available and on another night Sterling scores and we come away with a point. They all gave 100% , not one player shirked their responsibilities , Juventus only created a couple of chances when we were chasing the game , my only problem with MP is the fact he prioritised this game over the dippers , and he will pay the price for these decisions at the end of the season .We need a solid performance against Saints on Saturday and a victory against Hull and the season is looking better ,and this group is not over Sevilla have to beat Juventus to get in the europa league , a very important competition for Sevilla , we could still finish top , go back to the top of the premier league on Saturday and progress to the League Cup Semi-Finals , we need a few players back to match fitness , and we will be fine.

Simply not good enough, nowhere near good enough since the sevilla game, last 3 performances have been dire.
On the plus side if wolfsberg beat or draw with united they'll come top so we could draw them.

Pellegrini signings are now being exposed, mancini signings been carrying him for to long now.

Just thinking that. Not a big Mancini fan, but Mancini's team is the team that won the two trophies for Pelle. From that year onward we have been on a serious downward trend with Pelle's philosophy. 442 or 4231. No brains. No proper use of our talents. Take today for example, put sterling as striker when everyone knows his finish is dire, when we really needed him on left wing.

I honestly thought we are going to play on counter, was shocked when we went all forward. We needed a draw, that's it. Juve knew how stubborn and naive Pelle is and let us walk right into their plan.

Yes, Yaya was rubbish, and so the back four, but when you keep on playing wrong tactics and make teams like Villa looks world class, the team's overall confidence dips and desire to play goes.

I'd love to know how Toure and Navas stayed on for the full 90, meanwhile Fernandinho and Aguero got the hook.

Imagine worrying about what Barca/Bayern/Real will do to us when the likes of Zenit, Benfica and possibly Porto would still comfortably embarrass us in Europe.

The fact is we shouldn't be taking the positives out of another loss.
