Post match V Amazulu

Slow boring play, with a million pointless passes. City created next to nothing today. On the other hand, AmaZulu puts together a few quick direct passes and boom, they're in front of Joe Hart causing trouble.

Players look incapable of sending a nice through pass. I really thought they'd start crossing the ball more now, but looks like that's not going to happen before Navas comes along.

Dzeko created two good chances, one for Nasri and one for Rodwell. Neither of them finished it. Dzeko's one real shooting chance was saved by keeper.

Nice finish by Milner. But his crosses are laughable sometimes.

Nasri probably the best player today. Edin made one or two mistakes, but the rest was good.

Razak sucks badly every time I see him.

Hasn't changed my opinion from the start of last season.

We have some elite level players, some solid players, and quite a few mediocre non-contributors. Hope to fuck we clean house before the deadline. Not a knee-jerk from this game, but something that's been a problem for years.

Some good signs in the first half... Nasri was awesome in flashes. Garcia played well in defence. Milner worked hard and scored. I liked some of the pressing and quick inter-play, problem was like last season there was no end product.

On the flip side Sinclair was brutally poor, couldn't even beat these low level defenders and should be sold quickly. We could waste time 'trying' to make him fit in but his level is just too low for City. And don't really understand why the club has any desire to hold on to Kolarov.

Not a bad game tbf. Goals conceded through brain fades from Kolarov and Razak.

Positives:

- Fernandinho, Dzeko, Nasri

Negatives:

- Kolarov, Sinclair

Dzeko! Get to f@ck

obviously didnt watch or bother to notice the first half.

Wasted 2 hours i'll never get back.

Dzeko is Edin for 4th striker spot.

Anyone surprised about how hard working and organised these South African
sides look. Both sides we played kept their shape brilliantly.

To be honest they took these matches just as important as us they made 6-8 subs starting making subs already around 30-35th minute...
Supersport even gave chance to 3rd goalkeeper...

What was the score?

we lost 2-1; they got a penalty 3 mins from time.

Apart from a couple of dodgy lino decisions it could have been worse.

Well, if it wasn't for a couple of great saves from their goalie, it would have been much better. Anyway the purpose of the game was to run the rule over the fringe players. You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.
