Agree with the assessment of Milner, I cannot see why people want to keep him, he is NOT someone who will take us to the next level.

I d made the assumption that Navas was injured when I saw Milner on the right wing ................if I was him sat their warming the bench watching the bench I'd have been well hacked off

He said he was shit himself in the post match... I'd keep him as I've seen more than enough of him to realise he has a great engine and would punish us if he played for another team

I don't think it's a coincidence that we've started playing better football with Fat Frank and Boring James Milner in the starting line-up. Need to have 2 or 3 Englishmen in the line-up on a regular basis for the industry and workrate.

This.

Because that Argentinian, Agüero, is rubbish and the Spaniard, Silva, is no better.

Then there's the Frenchman, Mangala and the Brazilian, Fernandinho, neither of whom could make the QPR team.

All of them were so poor today, it's a wonder we had a shot on target, let alone kept a clean sheet.

They were the worst two City players by a long chalk.

I'd agree about Milner, but I though Frank had a decent game, he was a bit Barry like in fact, something we've missed.

I must admit I was a bit shocked when Frankie got a standing ovation whilst being substituted and thought well maybe its his swan-song,but I thought he was OK but nothing special.

How many games did it take this season for MP to recognise that tinkering with his starting line-ups doesn't work?
Same team last few games and we won them all.
David was virtually unplayable today and thoroughly deserved that great goal at the end. Nice back heel from Bony kept the momentum going. It is a shame his shot cannoned back off the post that would have been some goal.

I thought he contributed quite a bit off the ball, he makes runs that create space for others, a couple of times he was in a scoring position, but bypassed.

I thought he did a pretty good job today, and wondered where we might be, had he been started more often in this team, I think his game today allowed Silva and Aguero the space to play, though I admit that the shite QPR produced might have been part of it.

I got laughed at on here for suggesting we would win our last 6 games and qualify for the Champions League comfortably. There was no way we were going to slip out of the Top 4 with players like Silva and Aguero.

Hardly an anti-foreigner rant above. Just an observation that with a few committed veterans (I would put Zabaleta in the same category), the rest of the team tends to follow the lead.
