Why couldn't they have been that shit three years ago?

But then we would never have had that Agueroooooooooooo moment that the whole world will remember forever.

That single moment propelled us into the footballing stratosphere, hopefully never to return to mediocrity.

That moment will forever get under the skin of the red twats across the city. 20 titles yes, but they have NEVER won it the way we did.
I'd forgot about that game. Is it on you-tube by any chance ?

Special set on lube-tube ;-)

Niall Quinn was very uninteresting on Sky.

Waffling on about the crowd and the extra seats, I am surprised he is allowed anywhere near the ground - TRAITOR.

i thought he was shite when he played here too

I think that is harsh

Quinny gave his all when he was here, and suffered a bad injury during his time. He was here during the very unstable times when the club treated many of its players and staff shockingly

I think it is because he was such a Gent and a fans favourite here that it niggles many (me included) when he makes negative comment.

It doesn't detract from the fact that he was a great City player during his time here.

There are also otherex city players that annoy me more with there shit comments about us like Rodney Marsh and Danny Mills for a start.

All the best to QPR in the future but they've got so much work to do. If ever there's a model of how not to run a football club... They pumped a lot of money into players that were young with pretty high transfer fees despite being unproven. They then also spent a hell of a lot of money on past it players wages. I read on bbc sport that the QPR back line was going to be Dunne and Clint Hill and I immediately changed my score prediction to City scoring 5. Aguero v those two was always going to be carnage. How they thought they'd survive I will never know. They also threw silly money at Caulker and they've got Rio Ferdinand.

Then Barton says players didn't care enough. The same Barton who got sent off with the game 1-1 when they were facing relegation last time around... he really cared then! The manager also saying the same... fair enough but when you give past it players a pay day what do you expect. I thought it was appalling how their manager just walked straight down the tunnel. He has no right to slag the players off based on that. He should have marched the whole team over to those fans. They must be sick of what's happened there. All that money and the belief they would challenge for success... reminds you just how lucky we are with our owners and how we've been run. For all the Rodwells, Sinclairs etc we've not done too badly.

The booing of Barton was embarrassingly Arsenalesque.
I don't agree with the booing of Barton however it's not exactly Arsenalesque, is it? SWP and Dunne were cheered, Barton was booed by those who think he's a twat. Barton has gone on record and admitted that he's done things in the past which has given people ammunition to react like that towards him.

I can see why some booed Barton however i am in that corner of the south stand near the corner flag and the bulk of us clapped him when he came over to take a corner and he clapped us back. Why?Because for all his stupidity and daft statements on the whole when he pulled that blue shirt on he gave it his all.

I've got a lot of time for Joey, he says it how he sees it, and doesn't give a shit whose nose he puts out of joint, in today's world of PR massaged sound bites, banal millionaire pundits, it's the non-stars, the hod carriers and journeymen players who have seen, and been the wart on the arse of fantasy football, that have mores interesting things to say.
Imagine a panel with Barton, G.Neville, Souness, there'd be no punches pulled, no ego's massaged, and no agenda's followed.....

And what part of what he said was wrong ?

Almost like a return to the heady days of last season. Aguero and Silva magnificent. Loved the crowd response to SWP,but, was it just me,but I thought that Milner had a poor game.So many situations when a goal was on the cards and he either over hit his cross,or put it just behind the intended recipients?
Bony looked much improved in his short time on the pitch and Mangala is starting to look good.
