Post QPR Celebrations

Stayed in the bank until around midnight then heading to a local pub till about 4am, was in work for 7am

I was put through the wringer that afternoona so no matter what I was drinking it didn't seem to have an effect. Like others have said it was quite surreal, almost an out of body experience. I did have an awful hangover Monday though

Had my lad with me so headed into town, everywhere blue groups tried to have a can of beer the police moved us on.

Decided to get tram home (Old Trafford stop) got off and there were large groups of United fans who had been in Bishop Blaize/The Trafford fighting each other all over the place, bottles, bricks the lot.

Managed to dodge past them all unnoticed.

2019 was a classic!
That was probably one of the best days/weekends of my life. Everything about it was perfect. The weather, the city (absolutely love Brighton), thwarting the scousers. Having it wrapped up relatively early in the second half removed all of the stress too which made it more enjoyable in some ways than QPR.

Walked into town draped in flags and got in the Shakespeare. Spent the next 3 hours stood on tables singing, drinking the place dry and laughing at videos coming through from Sunderland. A mate couldn’t get in, so we asked the bouncer “do you know who he is?”, he shrugs, we respond “he’s Curly Watts!”. He apologises and lets him in. Bizarre on many levels not least that he bares only a passing resemblance to said fictional character.
The tram home was bouncing, cigar on the stagger home (saved purposely for this moment should it ever arise) and then raided the booze cupboard at home with a couple of mates watching reports MOTD etc. Fantastic.

For the QPR game I just went home afterwards. It took a long while to sink in.

In 2018 I hoped to catch it in a bar in Spain but the locals were more interested in Moto GP so I got pissed watching that instead.

Not to mention the company!

Yeah, me too. An absolutely magical weekend.
